Today
We had a great informational meeting today with the kids. A lot of good questions were asked and answered. Tomorrow will be when the information about the roommates, chaperones and bus information. It will also be when backpacks are distributed.
We are asking kids to bring in DVDs tomorrow if they want to watch them on the bus, they need to be on my desk tomorrow morning with a sticky note with their name on it. Thanks!

Update on the upcoming DC trip for parents/guardians - 4/3/13
Any medication that your child needs to take must be brought to the school nurse tomorrow, 4/4/13.
There will be an informational meeting with the children who are going to Washington DC tomorrow during school. At the end of the meeting there will be plenty of time for questions and answers. If you have any questions, please let your child know to ask them and we'll answer them to the best of our ability. The only questions that won't be answered will be about room assignments, bus assignments and chaperones
On Friday, all 8th graders going to Washington DC will meeting right before school gets out to receive their backpack (which is the ONLY carry-on that will be allowed; they must use this bag) and find out their chaperones, bus assignments and room assignments.
Important Information About Drop Off For Parents:
~ Students must arrive at the school between 4:00am and 4:15am.
~ Students must report to their designated area at that time (Bus 1 to the gym, Bus 2 to the auditorium and Bus 3 to the cafeteria) with their 1 luggage bag and their 1 carry-on (the backpack given to them on Friday) and check in with their chaperone.
~ The lanyard and luggage tag that were put in their carry-on on Friday afternoon must be filled out. The luggage tag should be on their bag and their lanyard should be in their carry-on.

2 Weeks to go
Two weeks out from the DC trip for the 8th grade. We have almost 150 teachers and students traveling to DC for a week. Information on a packing list will come out this week. We will leave at 5am from TMS on Monday April 8th. Students should be at TMS at 4:15am to get ready to depart. Busses will arrive at 4:30am or so. 100 AND COUNTING
Currently we have 100 students signed up. For every student that signs up during the month of September, Tyngsborough has a ticket put into a raffle for a chance to win $1000. We have reached the 100 students enrolled mark so that means the price of the trip drops from $805 to $785. Good job!!
